WalletHub released a BIG report on the best cities to buy real estate in. The states of Colorado and Washington dominated their lists. How was this determined? WalletHub compared 300 cities across two key dimensions, “Real-Estate Market” and “Affordability & Economic Environment.” Then they evaluated those dimensions using 22 relevant metrics with 80% of the emphasis on the “Real Estate Market” and 20% on “Affordability and Economic Environment. They also classified cities by size—large with over 300k people, medium with 150k-300k people and small cities with a population < 150k.

Here is how some Front Range Cities ranked—

#2—Denver for large cities
#4—Aurora for large cities
#5—Colorado Springs for large cities
#4 in medium size cities was Ft. Collins
#11 in small cities was Thornton
#12 in small cities was Arvada
#14 in small cities was Longmont
#17 in small cities was Greeley
#24 in small cities was Westminster
#25 in small cities was Centennial
