According to the June Case-Shiller Home Price Index, metro Denver home prices rose 8.3% in June from last June, down from the 8.5% appreciation rate we saw from May 2017 to May 2018. Nationally home prices rose 6.2% in June from a year earlier. It’s good to see appreciation rates slow down a little bit. Personally, I would like to see them in the 6% range which is our long-term average.
