Update on New Loan Limits

FHA max loan amount for metro Denver will be $575k just like it will be for conventional high balance loans. The FHA Case Number must be pulled January 1st or later to use this new higher loan amount.

But, in El Paso County the FHA loan limit is just $356,500 and their conventional loan limit is $510,400.

Conventional loans above the current high balance amount of $561,200 and up to $575k can't close until after January 1st.

VA loans will not have an official loan limit anymore beginning January 1st but each lender will have a maximum loan amount. So far, we have seen 2 of our investors tell us that our max VA loan amount will be $1 million and a third one has told us $1.5 million will be their maximum loan amount.
