Where Are Boomers Retiring?

Multifamily Executive had a great article last week titled, “Where are Boomers Moving to Retire?” The 2 common characteristics of where Boomers are choosing to retire are places that allow them to maintain an active social life. Second, is proximity to adult children and their grandchildren. According to research by Zonda the parent company of Multifamily Executive about 25% of Boomers plan to retire near their grandkids. Zonda calls this the “Baby Chaser Index” and Denver is in the Top 10 on this list. This isn’t surprising as hundreds of thousands of Millennials have moved here in the last 10

years.
