Why Would Denverites Want to Move to Seattle?

Redfin compiled a list of the top 10 cities people are looking to move to and the top 10 cities people are looking to leave based on second quarter search data on their website. A record 27.4% of Redfin users looked to move to another metro area in the second quarter.

Unfortunately, Denver came in #7 on the list of people looking to leave with a potential net outflow of 4,943 people. The top destination people from Denver want to move to according to Redfin is Seattle. This surprised me as home prices in Seattle are $175k higher than here plus the sun can go missing for weeks at a time in the winter. I loved living in Seattle in the early 90's, but after living in Denver I could never live in Seattle again due to the weather. You know here when it's cloudy for 2 or 3 days in a row how depressed we all feel? In Seattle from October through March it is this way for weeks on end.
